Taking a nod from the Joe Notes on MySpace, I've decided to officially open this page with some answers to frequently asked questions about my DeviantArt account.

1: Do you consider yourself a "Deviant?"
In a grand machination of universal stupidity I deviate from the norm by not being a rebel. I eagerly and zealously follow a well-known, organized religion, don't buy into the American value system that makes each citizen an equal-share emperor or believe that truth is determined by majority rule.

2: Do you consider yourself an artist?
Beauty is a matter of two separate, though not necessarily mutually exclusive, thematic elements: The Aesthetic and the Engaging. Because art incorporates both, by definition, art that doesn't necessarily look good can still be beautiful due to its personal significance to the viewer. I don't fill my work with any such hidden meanings, meaning they are only aesthetically beautiful. Therefore I call myself a "designer" rather than an artist.

3: So if you're neither a Deviant nor an Artist, why are you here?
Free publicity.

What? It isn't because you feel the ephemeral desire to make the world a more beautiful place with your art?
Nope. I just like the free publicity.

4: Well, alrighty. So who are these "Couriers of Compassion" you keep referring to?
"Couriers of Compassion" is a short version of "The United Couriers of the Compassion of Her Most Serene Majesty, Queen Sylvanas Windrunner, Dark Lady of the Forsaken Undead." They're the guild I created and lead in World of Warcraft on the server Moon Guard. The three Brothers MacManus, Centus, Ciendon, and Hecaton are my characters involved with the guild. In the game, their names are Centimanus/Centus, Ciend, and Hecatonchire.

5: I noticed a lot of slots on your profile aren't filled in. What gives?
The space they gave me is way too short. My detailed outlooks on music and literature are all on MySpace and Facebook where they're less overbearing with alloted space. You can get there by following the link to my "Web Site," and going to the Personnel section.

6: Why did it take so long for you to start using this page and why are there so few Deviations up?
I suppose you can write that off to the process of developing enough of an individual style and works to show for it taking time. School is helping a great deal by giving me incentive and deadlines with which to work. I'd hate to think that the only way I'm productive is if some authority is holding it over my head, but when it comes to design I'm tempted to go ahead and say the ends justify the means.

Actually, I kicked WoW to the curb half a year ago, but my love of RP remains. How're you doing?

Once I realized I was just grinding the same three quests over and over with no end in sight, the roleplay was all that kept me coming back, and when that stopped being enough to justify me sticking around, I stopped renewing the subscription. Nowadays, the World of Darkness is what attends to all of my roleplaying needs, and let me tell you: I definitely traded up.

On the contrary, I'm quite honored by all the praise I've received for this one. I'm certainly taking a whole series of new ones under serious consideration.
